I love hexagons. Call me a wierdo if you like but there's something really pleasing about the shape. I've also been loving greys and greens together lately, so after some playing around with the wonderfully tactile woolly pegs we have in the shop I decided to make a hexagon blanket.
There are a few things you should know before you start this blanket.
For this blanket I used Stylecraft Special DK, which is available in our store here. You can use any DK weight yarn to get the same size squares, but I think the Stylecraft colour range and softness is hard to beat in the same price bracket, so I tend to use it a lot for larger projects. If you've not used it before check out our yarn review here. For a baby blanket you will need five 100g balls.
I just love how these colours look together, but can't wait to see what you do with this. Share your finished projects in the comments, or on our Facebook page.
