In week one, we made the flowers for the centre of the squares in our blanket. This week we'll turn those flowers into squares.
Last week we finished on row 2 of our squares, and fastened off the colour.
For row 3 we rejoin the white in a space, then its back to trebles, granny square style to make a square. In every second chain space do 3tr, ch3, 3tr for the corners.
Row 4 is a treble into each treble from the row before, with 2tr, ch3, 2tr in the corners
Row 5 is a repeat of row 4, but with 1tr, ch3, 1tr in the corners. Fasten off. Viola, one square made.
Repeat this ONLY for the first square in each block of 4, so 9 squares total. If following pattern this is shades Lavender, Wisteria, Meadow, Aspen, Aster, Clematis, Citron, Spice, and Fondant.
That's it for this week, come back next week for more.
Mostly blogs will be posted by Mand, what with her being the technical one. Rest assured, the other two will have contributed their opinions along the way!
